I’m a geek parent, NASA fangirl, and lover of cult films.
Oh, and I’m also an awesome Massage Therapist.
I started on this path back in 2003, when I completed the therapeutic massage therapy program at National University of Health Sciences. Over the years I’ve worked in a variety of spas, doctor’s offices, and gyms. I’ve learned a lot over the years and love to share my knowledge with others. In 2012 I decided it was time I branched out on my own and started my own practice. I’m currently located in Body Sense Wellness Center and share space with 4 awesome LMTs.
I do my best to have an evidenced-based massage practice. I’m constantly searching for new data and studies that back up theories. When I’m not taking care of clients or spending time with my family, I’m sifting through information and research to separate the science from pseudoscience. And trust me, there is A LOT of pseudoscience out there.
While I’ve been told I’m a pretty damn good massage therapist, I may not be the right massage therapist for you. If you’re looking for Reiki, energy work, or chakra balancing, I’m afraid I can’t help you. If you’re looking to get your muscles worked, Oncology massage, prenatal massage, cupping massage, or just generally have “issues in your tissues;” then it sounds like I’m a good match!
